What is a credit?+
The unit the cloud models are priced in: 30 credits to the dollar, before any top-up bonus. Every cloud model shows its price in credits on the Run button before you press it, and the free local models never cost any.
When is a credit taken?+
When your file is handed to the provider, the price is held from your balance. It is spent only when the result comes back; if the run fails or the provider does not answer in time, the hold is released and you keep the credits.
Do I need an account?+
Only for the cloud models — the balance has to belong to someone. Every local model works without one, and always will. Signing in is a Google account or an email code, and a new account starts with 10 free credits — enough to try the cloud models before buying anything.
Where does my file go, and who can see it?+
For a cloud run the file goes to our storage and from there to the model's provider, which keeps it for at most a day. We keep the result for 30 days so you can download it again; you can delete it sooner from your profile.
